{"id":999,"date":"2021-04-05T17:01:36","date_gmt":"2021-04-05T17:01:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/limadeathayde.com.br\/?p=999"},"modified":"2022-03-09T19:59:03","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T19:59:03","slug":"data-privacy-and-protection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ldalaw.com.br\/en\/data-privacy-and-protection\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Privacy and Protection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It is well known that after many data leak incidents and its misuse by third parties, privacy and data protection are in the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time that data treatment can bring advantages to the company, its treatment without observing the legal basis may harm controllers, processors and data holders in many ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the Brazilian General Data Protection Law \u2013 GDPL establishes sanctions for those who do not comply with it, correct adequation allows one to be set apart from competitors. Furthermore, complying with the law also permits to have a better comprehension of the business as a whole, only using relevant data to perform the activity. Therefore, we offer the following solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Draft of internal policies and terms of use;<\/li><li>Development of Brazilian General Data Protection Law \u2013 GDPL compliance programs, including data mapping, training, specialized audits, data protection impact assessment \u2013 DPIA, among others;<\/li><li>Legal opinions regarding data treatment;<\/li><li>Support in international data transfer, reviewing clauses and documents.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is well known that after many data leak incidents and its misuse by third parties, privacy and data protection are in the spotlight.
